You will depart from Arequipa in a 4x4 vehicle for an approximately 3-hour journey to begin the Chachani Volcano Climb, reaching the point where you will begin the trek to base camp (5,200 meters above sea level). Here, you will be equipped with the appropriate mountaineering gear, depending on the season.
You will then begin the climb to the summit, a journey of approximately 6 hours. Once at the summit, you will appreciate the wonderful views that this high point offers. After resting, you will carefully begin the return journey, which will take approximately 3.5 hours. Finally, the vehicle will take you back to the city of Arequipa.
